Opa! Emily in Paris Season 6 has been confirmed and we have a feeling it’s about to become a whole lot more European!
Chicago-born Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) has come a long way from who she was in Season 1.
She can speak French now, Sylvie respects her, but one thing hasn’t changed.
Her feelings for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).
At the end of Season 5’s highly-anticipated ten-episodes, we see Emily’s relationship with Italian Stallion Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini) end.
The pair went their seperate ways due to the different paths they were taking in life.
Thankfully, Emily’s life is never not filled with a man and an old flame quickly comes back onto the scene.
Sending the marketing guru a letter from the yacht he’s working on in Greece, “le chef hot” Gabriel invites her to join him on the Mediterranean Sea.
What has Emily in Paris creator Darren Star said about Season 6?
During a press conference in December, the show’s creator Darren Star teased a few details about Emily in Paris Season 6, including whether or not it would be set in Paris.
“There’s a lot of places I’d love to visit. But I think the show organically [follows] the storyline, The show is Emily in Paris. It’s never going to permanently leave its home base.”
“But if I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that … [It’s] fun to think about.”
How did Emily in Paris Season 5 end?
Season 5 garnered 26.8 million views globally in just 11 days, becoming the No. 1 TV series in 24 countries- including France, Italy, Brazil, and Germany.
It also appeared in the Top 10 of 91 countries and series creator Darren Star was recently awarded France’s highest civilian honor: chevalier de la Légion d’honneur.
Although Emily and Marcello break up at the end of Season 5 (for the second time), her best friend Mindy is more committed than ever.
Her on-again, off-again boyfriend Nicolas de Léon (Paul Forman) proposes in Venice, and Mindy says yes.
The only problem is, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) has made his feelings for Mindy and his opinion on the engagement (hint: it’s not a good one) very clear.
In the Mediterranean, Emily’s ex Gabriel is given a few weeks of break in Greece, and thanks to Sylvie’s text now knows that Emily is single.
Gabriel then invites Emily to join him aboard his boss’s yacht, and that’s where it ends.
What will happen in Emily in Paris Season 6?
Thanks to Darren’s comments on his desire travel and bring the show to a new location, Greece seems like the natural next step.
However, we don’t know for sure if Emily will accept Gabriel’s offer- or if she even gets the letter!
All we know is we cannot wait to watch!
When will Emily in Paris Season 6 premiere?
Although Netflix have no released any dates for Emily in Paris Season 6, we can expect to see it on our screens by the end of 2026.
