Tweeting about his soon-to-be-released battle rap film ‘Bodied,’ Slim Shady teased he was working on a new project.
Naturally, fans speculated the rap god was about to return to action with something even more outrageous than ‘Killshot’.
And, they weren’t wrong.
On November 30, Eminem released his freestyle titled ‘Kick Off’, spitting absolute fire for 11 minutes straight.
“The main objective is to destroy. Completely f****ng obliterate your opponent by saying anything and everything, whatever the f**k you can, to get a reaction from the crowd,” he says at the start of the video, admitting he has “always looked at battle rap as a competitive war.”
Filmed on his “old stomping grounds” at The Shelter inside Detroit’s St. Andrews, in typical Shady fashion, nothing is off limits, dumping on even the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
Slim, to many people’s disgust, even rapped a verse about last year’s suicide bombing at Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert.
“Like an Islamic regime, a jihadist extreme radical / Suicide bomber that’s seeing / Ariana Grande sing her last song of the evening / And as the audience from the damn concert is leaving / Detonates the device strapped to his abdominal region/ I’m not gonna finish that for obvious reasons”

He then went on to take down Bieber, rapping: “Justin Bieber in a Catholic school / Selling dust and reefer when your back is to him / Don’t adjust your speaker.” And of course, Christina Aguilera, Reece Witherspoon, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Ric Flair weren’t exempt from the long list of shots he fired either.
Like all of his diss tracks— which, for the record, are supposed to offend in the hope of provoking a response— the shock value is there. But it’s hard not to be captivated when his delivery is impeccable and his lyrics are tight and clever.
