Richie seems to have a thing for blondes. So what happened?

[Laughs] What a leading question! I wasn’t feeling it – though he does seem to like blondes. He could like brunettes, too. But really, he wasn’t doing it for me. There wasn’t a connection there. He’s not really my type of guy. I’m into tall, dark, handsome. And it wasn’t automatic when I walked out of the car and met him that first night. Of course, I still wanted to make sure that perhaps we’d click with personality or something else that shone through. But there needs to be chemistry and I just wasn’t finding that with Richie.

Did you ever get a real chance to talk to one another?

Yeah, quite a few times we had a good chat, but by the group date, I completely – that’s when I knew that I felt nothing. I didn’t want to stick around waste my time, let alone his or the other girls’, which was a shame because I was having such a good time.

Who are you tipping to go all the way, based on what you saw?

All the way? Richie, probably. He’ll be the winner! [laughs] Going purely by my time there and the episodes we’ve seen so far, I’d say Alex or Nikki.

Is there anyone Richie should avoid?

No, not at all. I think he should really enjoy his time in the house with everyone that’s still left.

Keira is certainly being painted as the villain this season. What did you make of her?

I really liked Keira. We shared a room, and I got along with her. I think she’s very entertaining to watch. I think she’s playing up to whatever she does pretty well. She knew what she was doing.

Eliza took up a lot of air at your photo shoot. What was going on there? Do you wish you’d tried harder to get into the frame/grab attention away from her?

Oh, look—we all enjoyed what Eliza was doing. It took the pressure off the rest of us. I didn’t mind it.

What did you learn from doing this?

Well, I learnt that I’m not a mean or vindictive person, and that I know who I am. I don’t mind the outcome because I knew going in that it was a game of chance. You’re taking a risk, you have no idea if the person you’re competing to win over is going to be your type at all. And there were more girls there than I had initially anticipated there being, so you know… I already had a 1 in 20 or so chance. By the time my rose ceremony came around, I had already done an interview for the cameras saying I was okay with going home, and that’s what happened. It’s fine.

What do you wish Richie had had a chance to learn about you, had you stayed?

Nothing, really. Though, funny enough, I just saw Richie again yesterday. He came into my work and didn’t even realise I would be there! So that was funny. There wasn’t much he needed to learn about me… other than perhaps where I worked. [laughs] It’s all good. He’s a good guy. Hopefully he’ll find the right girl.
