Even before this season of Farmer Wants A Wife aired, all eyes were on Miranda and Farmer Zac, thanks to the publicity given to the pair ahead of the premiere.
It didn’t take long for viewers to see why; Miranda adds a lot of drama to the show and has quickly emerged as the season’s “villain” thanks to the stir she has caused on the farm.
This week, things finally reached a boiling point when a major confrontation exploded after fellow contestant Maya had a candid chat with Zac’s twin sister, Isobel.
When Isobel asked if the women were there for the “right reasons,” Maya didn’t hold back. She revealed she felt hurt by Miranda, who had allegedly branded her “desperate” for stealing Zac away for a chat at the Country Ball. Maya also raised doubts about Miranda’s intentions with the 24-year-old apple farmer.
“I love [Miranda], but she’s very materialistic,” Maya warned Isobel. “I think she’s said a few things like, ‘I need my man to give me what I want, when I want.’ I can see that Zac is so genuine… there are a few things like that that worry me.”
When Isobel confronted Miranda with the rumors, it triggered an explosive argument with Maya – leaving fellow contestant Grace in tears from the sheer discomfort of the situation.
Unsurprisingly, Isobel later warned her brother that Miranda’s habit of speaking poorly of the other women was a major “red flag.”

Does Farmer Zac pick Miranda?
While the final choice remains under wraps, Farmer Zac, recently spoke to WHO about his relationship dealbreakers, dropping some heavy hints about the outcome of his and Miranda’s relationship.
Addressing the recent drama, Zac admitted that backstabbing is “a bit of a dealbreaker” for him, noting he wouldn’t want his potential partner to “have a crack against anyone.”
“That’s something for me that’s hard to look past,” the farmer explained. “When it comes to a relationship I want it to be easy, I want it to be fun, I want it to be filled with laughter and smiles. That’s why I’ve always tried to avoid drama, but sometimes you get caught up in it.”
Hmm, that kind of sounds like the opposite of what Miranda brings to the table, right?

Farmer Wants A Wife viewers don’t think Miranda is there for the right reasons
Meanwhile, viewers have commented that they don’t think Miranda is on the show for the right reasons.
“Not in it for love, she only wants to WIN,” one viewer wrote on TikTok, where Miranda poked fun at her being “the drama”.
“I actually cannot sit and watch someone treat girls so horribly anymore,” another added.
“You’re doing what the producers want you to do,” wrote a third. “It doesn’t suit the show.”
Time will tell how much longer Miranda has at the farm!
