On Wednesday, Netflix released the first trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, a four-part event, along with the premiere date – November 25.

In the clip, fans get their first look at Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) as they banter over pop-tarts and coffee – some things never change.

“Do you think Amy Schumer would like me?” Lorelai asks her daughter.

“No,” Rory responds. After a few back and fourths about the topic, she finally tells her mother, “Water sports. Every single time I see her in a magazine she’s on vacation doing water sports.”

Disgusted, Lorelai tells her, “No. That would not work at all.”

Following the release of the trailer, Schumer took to Twitter to joke about the “water sports” reference.

“I would love her!” she says of Graham’s iconic character.

Graham, 49, recently told WHO that returning to the hit show was everything and more for her.

“I relished it, and I’m ruined for life because there’s no more perfect fit I feel like for me than that writing and that show,” she said. “I’m so glad I got to do it again. I just can’t even explain it. It was everything I wanted it to be and more.”

Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life will launch everywhere that Netflix is available Friday, November 25.
