Matty, Sarah Marie and Malik Fahd are three of our favourite Gogglebox stars and though they’re currently going through lockdown in Sydney, they’re appreciating precious family time together.
Taking to Instagram, mum-of-one Sarah shared a photo of her sleeping husband and their son.
“It was after 11pm and Malik was refusing to sleep. I hadn’t showered in literally days and was really at the end of my rope because I felt so gross and yuck,” she wrote.
“@matty_ef took over so I could shower and have time to myself. When I came back this is how they were. Snuggled next to each other, best friends, Malik finally sleeping and Papa clearly defeated lol.
“I love my boys and my husband is so amazing #rolemodel.”
The family-of-three live in Kingsgrove, South Sydney with their adorable British bulldog Bane.
However, fans were worried when Bane didn’t appear on the couple’s socials presuming the worst. Turns out, the family dog is currently living with Sarah’s parents as Matty and Sarah are renovating their home.
“He doesn’t travel well and when we renovated we had to move home several times so instead of trying to drive Bane across Sydney we left him at his second home at my in-laws,” Matty explained to fans, after reassuring them that Bane is “perfectly fine”.
“Since then we haven’t been able to get him home due to travel restrictions and also wanting to see Sarah’s parents and put them at risk.”
Sarah and Matty first met outside the now defunct Hugo’s in Sydney’s Kings Cross and tied the knot in January 2018.
The couple then welcomed their son Malik in November 2019 and in January this year, they threw a lavish christening party with loved ones.

Whilst Matty, Sarah, Malik and close friend Jad Nehmetallah are fan faves on Gogglebox, it was confirmed this week that two old favourites are coming back.
Adam Densten and Symon Lovett are returning to the couch after two years off.
“We’ve spent so much time on the couch in the last year, we thought it was only natural to come back to Gogglebox!” the duo said in a statement.
