She may not have won Sam Wood’s heart on The Bachelor but now Heather Maltman has found her happily ever after! The former reality star is officially engaged to partner, Matt Baker.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday evening, Heather shared a series of photos and videos taken at NSW’s Mundi Mundi lookout where Matt popped the question.
In one video filmed by a friend, Matt is down on one knee and can be heard telling Heather: “You know I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I love you so much.”
After saying yes, the couple hilariously remark that neither of them knows which hand an engagement ring goes on.
“Does anyone know what f***ing hand an engagement ring goes on?” the former Bachelor star asks her friends filming the special event.
Heather then added: “Holy s***, holy s***. Best festival ever!”
Matt shared his own Instagram post marking the special day and called himself “the luckiest man in the world.”
“@heather_maltman you are just the best person I know. My best friend my lover and now fiancée, how fancy! What a great weekend away in Broken Hill.”
“Special thanks to @stevebastoni and @tammy__macintosh even though you both had no idea it was about to go down, My plan worked out and you captured the moment so beautifully. Awesome to share the moment with you both. Can’t wipe the smile off my face.”
Heather’s exciting engagement news comes shortly after debuting her new pixie cut.
Gone are the long dark tresses that she had during her Bachelor days and fans are loving the new look.
“Saw the hair cut post and it looks stunning 😍,” one remarked.
“Brave, bold and fabulous,” penned another.
Though she placed fourth on Sam Wood’s season of the hit reality dating show, it wasn’t long before Heather started dating personal trainer and podcast creator Matt.
The pair were first pictured together in October, 2017, before they temporarily split in late 2018.
In 2019, the couple were rocked by tragedy when Heather suffered a miscarriage but Matt was by her side.
“This man has been sleeping on hospital floors for me and taking me to the toilet. And not left my side for days,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
