She’s the former Baywatch star who’s set to appear on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Here’s everything you need to know about Pamela Anderson.
Born on July 1, 1967, Pamela Denise Anderson grew up in Vancouver. As a youngster she was an accomplished gymnast and acrobat and was first discovered at a British Lions Football game.
Her modelling career took off and she won a contract as the Labatt’s beer girl then in 1989 she graced the cover of Playboy.
She once said of her looks: “It’s great to be a blonde. With low expectations it’s very easy to surprise people.”
In 1990 she moved to Los Angeles and began her career as an actress first appearing on Home Improvements and then Baywatch where she made her mark.
But she remained humble about her work as an actress saying:
“I’m not an actress. I don’t think I am an actress. I think I’ve created a brand and a business.”
Soon after her acting career took off, Pamela met musician Tommy Lee in 1994 and they married in Cancun, Mexico a year later.
Two years on, she welcomed her first child Brandon Thomas and a year later Dylan Jagger in 1997.
She said of her pregnancy: “Making love in the morning got me through morning sickness. I found I could be happy and throw up at the same time.”
Pamela filed for divorce from Tommy two months after Dylan was born and he was jailed for six months for assaulting her.
The blonde then had a brief marriage with Kid Rock which lasted just one year. She also married Rick Salomon in 2007, divorced him a year later the remarried him in 2014, but finally divorced again in 2015.
Pamela is also a vegan and animal activist. She founded the Pamela Anderson Foundation and she ran the New York Marathon in 2013.
