Imogen Anthony has spoken out after Kyle Sandilands’ new girlfriend Tegan Kynaston was charged with assaulting a police officer at the weekend.

Imogen seemed to take a swipe at Kyle’s new flame on her Instagram stories as she shared a video where she referenced an unnamed person with “mental issues” who she said had been acting like a “f**king psycho” recently.
“Some people do need professional help. There’s been mental issues that have been happening for a while now and we’ve been trying to help,” Imogen said.
She continued: “And yeah, I think someone just decided that they didn’t really want the help anymore and just went f**king psycho.”
Imogen then hinted that she wants to keep her distance from the drama surrounding her ex-boyfriend as she said she “doesn’t need that situation” and has “way too much to deal with” at the moment.
On Tuesday, Kyle and Tegan fled to Cairns to avoid the drama surrounding the incident and to celebrate Tegan’s 34th birthday.
According to The Daily Mail, Tegan was served with a court summons on Sunday evening and will appear at Waverley Local Court on assault charges on January 21.
The publication reported that Kyle, 48, and Tegan became embroiled in an altercation on Beach Road in Bondi on Saturday morning.
Kyle then reportedly asked a bystander to call triple-zero, and when police arrived Tegan allegedly then assaulted a female responding officer.
Tegan works as director of communications for Kyle’s King Kyle company, and has been rumoured to be in a relationship with the shock jock for a number of months.
Kyle broke the news of his split with ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony after eight years together on his radio show last month: “It ran its course and we haven’t lived together for some time. We split several months ago.”
