While Kyle and Tegan are currently laying low in Cairns after an altercation between the couple at the weekend led to the police being called, Imogen has been relishing in her new single status.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Imogen, 28, shared a series of not-so-cryptic messages about how she’s moving on in 2020, and looking forward to some “good sex” in the new year.
“2020: We’re hydrated, having good sex with people who deserve us, eating veggies, hiking, leaving behind toxic relationships, communicating our feelings, saying no, respecting animals, spoiling ourselves with love,” read one post.
Another telling post about how she would “never look back” and was instead about to “rise up” couldn’t have been more clear about her intentions after Imogen’s eight-year relationship with Kyle went sour.
“You can rise up from anything. You can completely recreate yourself. Nothing is permanent. You’re not stuck. You have choices. You can think new thoughts. You can learn something new. You can create new habits,” it read.
“All that matters is that you decide today and never look back.”
Shock jock Kyle announced he and Imogen had called it quits in early November, revealing they hadn’t lived together for “quite some time”.
“We haven’t been with each other for quite a few months now. Unfortunately it’s run its course,” he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Days later, it was revealed Kyle was dating his former assistant, Tegan, 34.
Just last weekend, Tegan was charged with assault after allegedly slapping a police officer in an altercation in Bondi.
According to The Daily Mail, Tegan was served with a court summons on Sunday evening and will appear at Waverley Local Court on assault charges on January 21.
The publication reports that Kyle, 48, and Tegan became embroiled in an altercation on Beach Road in Bondi on Saturday morning.
Kyle then reportedly asked a bystander to call triple-zero, and when police arrived Tegan allegedly then assaulted a female responding officer.
The pair have since fled to Cairns for some R&R.
