The sport crazy family made up of mum Stacey, dad Grant and their six children aged between five and 20 said their hectic social calendar is the reason behind their shock departure.
“We as a family would like to say a big thank you for all the years we have had on Gogglebox,” they said in a statement.
“The show has changed our lives in many ways. We were able to do something unique and special together as a family and have loved every minute!
“To all of the fans, thank you for embracing us.
“We will continue being a part of the Gogglebox family, only now it will be from the other side of the screen.”
Their exit comes not long after fan favourite’s Adam and Symon announced their departure from the long-running reality series, revealing they were looking to pursue other opportunities. Speaking on their podcast, The Adam & Symon Show, the best friends said they hope to try their hand at radio.
“We’re really excited, it’s really sad (though), I was flat on Sunday, I was really flat,” Symon said after they announced the sad news. “It’s been five years and 10 seasons, it’s a nice round number,” Adam added. “We are planning on still being around on your TV and radio a bit longer though!”
While we will no doubt miss our favourite couch critics, season 11 of Gogglebox will still deliver the goods. Airing on Wednesday, February 26 on LifeStyle and then the next day on Channel 10, Lee and Keith will return along with Anastasia and Faye, Tim and Leanne, the Daltons, the Silberys, the Delpechitras and new parents, Matty and Sarah Marie.
A representative for Foxtel also revealed that three new castings are coming in the current weeks, so get ready to get to know a few more faces!
