No one does an impromptu photoshoot like Jennifer Hudson. She turns getting dressed into a glamorous, down-right fun affair on the regular on her Instagram. (You may remember her major pose-off before Ciara and Russell Wilson’s wedding.) And on July 28 she channeled Naomi Campbell for her sexiest shoot yet.
Hudson was at a performance at the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort in Connecticut Wednesday night, and before she took the stage, had a little fun with her glam squad. She was dressed in a sexy outfit featuring a cinched waist, ultra-short hemline and long train bustle with fishnet tights and posed for a series of photos beforehand.
She started it all off with a behind-the-scenes video.
Then got a bit fiercer with her sultry couch sitting.
In one Instagram she explains that her “entire look” was inspired by Campbell. So we naturally had to gather up some of Campbell’s best sheer, mini combo moments to see how well the two stack up.
The consensus? Hudson’s fishnets perfectly capture Campbell’s commitment to sheer details, the singer gets the hemline just right and that swagger and smize is nearly identical.
