The actress, 32, spoke with Variety following the film’s release, sharing that despite some apprehension from her team – she had no reservations when it came to stripping off for one very memorable scene.

Warning Spoilers Below. In No Hard Feelings, Jennifer Lawrence plays 32-year-old Uber driver Maddie, who answers a Craigslist ad posted by a wealthy couple who are offering a car in return for a woman to date their socially awkward 19-year-old son in the hopes she will “prepare” him for college life.

The flick, which is rated MA15+ for Aussie audiences is full of memorable gaffs and laugh-out-loud scenes – but it’s one particular skinny-dipping scene that got audiences talking.

Maddie and 19-year-old Percy’s plan to go skinny dipping goes off track when a group of kids steal their clothes off the beach.  Lawrence’s character Maddie decides to fight to get their clothes back, despite being naked at the time.

“Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?’” the actress said while promoting the film alongside Andrew Feldman, who plays Percy.

Jennifer also revealed the fight scene took around a day to shoot, following “a lot of rehearsal.”

“Every situation that these characters end up in, you’re laughing your butt off,” shared co-star Feldman to Variety. “We became so close instantly that nothing ever felt weird or unsafe. It was entirely professional.”
