Just when you thought Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t reach new heights in her career, the actress has announced that she is launching her very own production company.
The Oscar winning actress, 28, has teamed up with producing partner, Justine Polsky to create, Excellent Cadaver. What’s more, the company has already signed a deal with production studio Makeready.
“Makeready’s Brad Weston and Pam Abdy are visionary producers with incredible taste and a history of supporting diverse and compelling storytelling,” Lawrence and Polsky said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Makeready and look forward to this exciting collaboration.”

Lawrence and Polsky will develop movie projects and Excellent Cadaver will either produce them independently or in partnership with Makeready.
“In a relatively short amount of time, Jennifer has already proven herself to be a one-of-a-kind actress and businesswoman,” Makeready founder and CEO Brad Weston said in a statement.
“Her versatility and commitment to working with the greatest filmmakers in the industry highlights our shared ambition to create thoughtful, fearless films, and we are extremely excited to partner with Jennifer and Justine as they start this new chapter.”
This news comes after the actress – who is a huge fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians – previously revealed that she would love to have her own reality TV empire.

“I have actually been toying with the idea of becoming a billionaire and I’d like to start my own TV network,” Lawrence previously told Vanity Fair.
“I am pretty much a television professional at this point. And I have a brilliant idea for a reality show called Break-Up Island.
“I can’t tell you the details, but there are very distinct cast members like The Bachelor, between the ages of 20 and 50, who you stay with and care about. My agent was laughing at me when I told him. But I am clearly obsessed.”
Fingers crossed her new company starts work on Break-Up Island.
