Jessika Power has hit back at Nick Furphy’s cheating allegations, claiming the former couple weren’t dating when she locked lips with another man while vacationing in Bali together.

“I didn’t cheat on Nick,” she told New Idea, referring to the video her ex-boyfriend posted showing her kissing a tatted up man named Joel Martin “I spent the entire night with Tamra. Nick and I had been on the rocks the entire time and I decided to call time on our relationship after constant verbal fights with him.
“As everyone knows Nick and I split in Bali and in true Nick Furphy fashion he’s chasing another article. It’s easy to call me a cheat but no one else was there with Nick and I knew our relationship.”
Meanwhile, Nick maintains they were still an item when Jess supposedly cheated, slamming the controversial reality star for secretly making out with the hunky Aussie just hours before the once-happy couple celebrated his birthday.
“I’m never one to cause drama or throw someone under the bus but when it comes to cheating I have zero tolerance,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a video of Jess pashing Joel.
“This happened on the 24th of Aug. Someone Dm this to me early this morning. Not happy. The day before my birthday I was in Bali at Mrs Sippy with Jess and Tamara and some other friends. 7.30 that night the girls left for what was meant to be 20 minutes. I didn’t see Jess until 9 the next morning. I couldn’t even contact her. Not really the best way to spend your birthday morning.”
The irate reality star went on to admit he confronted Jessika about the situation days after he caught wind of the rumours, however, she continued to deny the accusations.
“Now someone did say it was this guy months ago. I did confront Jess and she cracked it. So I just gave her the benefit of the doubt. It’s all out now. I’ve been amicable till now. Hope you learn something from this. And yes I should have known better.”
As we know, Jess and Nick were embroiled in an awkward public spat after spending the week together in Bali, with onlookers at Ngurah Rai International Airport claiming she was screaming at him. We can only assume this is the brutal argument Nick is referring to.
“We heard some arguing and screaming near one of the lounges and as it got louder my friend and I walked over to have a look,” the spy told the Daily Mail at the time. “We couldn’t believe it when we recognised it was her from Married At First Sight. Quite a few people were looking. She seemed really upset.”
“She was so emotional and then they left on different flights back to Australia.”
The couple announced they’d called time on their whirlwind romance two months ago, with Jess claiming she initiated their split.
“I know there’s a lot of speculation going around right now in regards to my relationship status with Nick,” she wrote on Instagram. “Regretfully after thinking of what’s best for myself and Nick I decided to ended (sic) our relationship.”
She went on to thank her fans for their support, however, asked they respect her privacy.
“I love you all and I appreciate the concern but this is fresh and private. I’m not ready just yet to discuss or go into detail but thank you all for the kind messages and support.”
Nick later broke his silence, emotionally revealing he “probably still would have tried” to make things work, however, Jess had already given up.
“Are Jess and I dating? No,” he said during an Instagram Live video. “[With] all the articles out there and people guessing, I just want to put that to bed. Look, it was a mutual thing, but I probably still would have tried to hang in there a bit. But the distance… and Jess… it wasn’t working.”
Although the seemingly loved up couple regularly flaunted their romance on Instagram, the reality TV star said their love for each other just “fizzled out”.
“Am I upset? A bit disappointed, but its early days. I think it was a mutual thing and we’ll keep going forward.”
