She’s one of Married At First Sight’s most recognisable contestants but season six bride Jessika Power has admitted that she regrets how she behaved during her first stint on the reality dating show.
Originally partnered with farmer Mick Gould, the then 26-year-old cheated on him with intruder groom Dan Webb whom she controversially re-entered the experiment with.
However Jessika has reflected on her MAFS experience via Instagram and shared photos and videos of herself at the reunion dinner party that aired earlier this year.
“I was just looking through my camera roll and found these little ‘memory moments'”, she mused in her caption.
“When I watched my season back it made me sick with emotion to see how self centered and self consumed I was.”
However, Jessika admitted that she was proud of herself for the way she conducted herself at the grand reunion event.
“Then watching myself back again this year made me actually smile a little and feel prouder to turn the tv on and know my dad won’t be going balistic at me,” Jessika continued in her caption.
“I guess you have to look back at these moments and just laugh. To my UK followers here, I’m not sure if you’ve watched the reunion special yet so sorry for the spoilers!”
Jessika’s post was met with many supportive comments from fans both in Australia and around the world.
“Well done Jess. We noticed it too!” one exclaimed.
“Everyone gets caught up in the moment! It’s when you reflect you grow,” noted another.
“I think even before the reunion you could see that you were a good person with a good heart who just wanted to find someone. I found your personality really endearing. We all make mistakes and you were just following your heart. I have tons of respect for you and think you deserve all the happiness in the world. Don’t ever apologise for your growth and the paths it took to get you where you are now,” one UK fan wrote.

For those who missed the reunion, Jess had a glass of white wine thrown at her by former co-star Cyrell Paule and showed remorse for her cheating admitting she was “living in Jess’ world.”
“I would say we both probably hurt one another… that is hard to watch,” she told expert John Aiken when her MAFS journey with original husband Mick Gould and second husband Dan was replayed.
“I don’t think he really thought I was as serious as I was, he just wasn’t the guy for me which is hurtful because we hurt people to get that.”
She added: “You can’t go through life thinking that people will get over the things you say and do that hurt them. My empathy levels were so low, I was living in Jess’ world.”
