On Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian made a throwaway comment that few picked up on.
“Kylie, [Jordyn] provides for her whole family off of what you have given her,” the enraged KKW Beauty founder said during a discussion about the infamous cheating scandal involving Jordyn and NBA player Tristan Thompson.
While her snide remark wasn’t as harsh as the other things said about Kylie Jenner’s former best friend— nor was her financial situation the talking point of the episode— Jordyn has since refuted the claim, publically stating that she has only herself to thank for the money in her bank.

“I definitely work very hard for a lot of the things that I have, and as you can see, I’m out here hustling, and I’ve always been working,” said the 21-year-old told Entertainment Tonight. “I started modelling when I was 18,” she continued, “and you know, I work hard.”
Although Jordyn used to live with the Kylie Cosmetics founder and her daughter Stormi in her Hidden Hills Los Angeles mansion, since the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal, Jordyn has been working hard to clear her name. Last month she announced that she landed her first acting gig and would be guest starring in an upcoming episode of the Black-Ish spinoff, Grown-Ish.
“I’ve been waiting to share this with you guys but I am SO excited to guest star on this season of #grownish 🥰 it returns June 5th on @freeform,” Jordyn wrote on social media. “This was the first role I’ve ever booked and I was nervous at first but I got past that and had the best time. Take risks and stay consistent to your journey, you never know what the world has to offer.”
Then, to everyone’s surprise, the KUWTK regular— who has long been close with her former BFF’s sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner — announced she’s partnering with online clothing retailer, Boohoo, to create a spring/summer collection.
“I’m so excited to be given the opportunity to co-design a second collection with boohoo. I’ve always been a huge fan of the brand and feel so fortunate to be part of the boohoo family,” the former Good American model wrote on social media, sharing a sneak peek of what fans can expect from her new line. “With my new collection, I wanted to offer size inclusive pieces with designs that reflect my personal style. I hope this collection empowers women and encourages them to dream big.”
This isn’t the first time Boohoo collection the California native has brought to life. In 2016, she collaborated with the clothing brand to design 60 pieces which were inspired by her personal style and the trends she was loving at the time. Since then, her love for fashion has grown and her sense of style has evolved drastically.
The shamed celeb— who’s apparently friends with Kylie again— seems to be using the publicity to her advantage. She’s not only gained two million followers on Instagram but according to The Blast, Jordyn has been “flooded with calls from companies who want to get their brands seen with the star.”
