Following two thrilling seasons of Riverdale, two key characters have been cast! That’s right, the second half of Jughead’s Serpent family – AKA his mother, Gladys, and little sister, Jellybean are heading back to town.
So we’ve heard their names but they’re actually set to appear onscreen this season, which by the way airs on Netflix on October 11.
According to Variety, Gladys Jones will be played by Gina Gershon, and Jellybean’s character will be brought to life by Trinity Likins.
Already keen to play her new role, Jughead’s mama (Gina) has shared a few images from the Riverdale set!
Meanwhile, Trinity is still playing it lowkey on her social accounts – giving very little hints away. Regardless, here is a snap of the actress and we must admit she’s gorgeous.
“Gladys is described as a businesswoman and a biker who runs a salvage yard that doubles as a Southside Serpent compound. A fellow Serpent — but an educated one, with a GED — she is able to command the attention of the others in the gang and acts as a ‘Fagin’ to a crew of teenaged car parts thieves. Jellybean is described as being ‘wise beyond her years’ and is following in her mother’s footsteps as a con artist,” reports Variety.
