On November 19, in a special and extended edition of A Current Affair, Channel Nine will provide viewers with an inside look into their big day as they prepare to reaffirm their love for one another in what will now be a legally binding marriage!

While their special day has no doubt crept up on us, Jules and Cam were originally meant to wed in September, however, a series of chaotic events ended up derailing their highly anticipated plans.

“We had this great idea to get married on the one-year anniversary, and it was just a lovely, romantic gesture,” she said. “But so much has been happening and going on, and I wanted to enjoy the process of organising the wedding, so that’s the only reason why it’s been postponed.”

Wedding preparation

Jules vowed to shed 10kgs before saying “I do” to Cam, and if her latest Instagram pictures are anything to go by, it looks like Jules is well on her way to hitting her target weight!

Last week, the Weight Watchers ambassador opened up about her progress while debuting her noticeably slimmer figure on social media.

“[Weight Watchers] has been so great. I haven’t obsessed about losing weight, I’ve just been doing my thang day by day and now seeing and enjoying the results!” she wrote. “Why does it take a photo to make you see how far you have come?” she added, referencing an older photo.

“I’d like to hit my goal and then a little bit more. I’ve put on 10 kilograms since I got married to Cam, and I’ve only just started saying it out loud and it’s getting much more comfortable.”

Along with Weight Watchers, Jules has been working hard in the gym, hiring Natalie— a celebrity personal trainer who previously worked with Love Island Australia star Tayla Damir.

Cam also joined Jules on her health journey, telling his Instagram followers that they’ve been working out together three times a week.

Bridesmaid drama

As we know, Jules has been locked in a bitter feud with her former MAFS co-star and ex-best friend, Melissa Lucarelli for some time now. Last month, Melissa leaked a series of text messages which proved the makeup artist ditched her as a bridesmaid.

“Not only was the text cold, but she used our friendship for her own publicity. She was posting about how amazing it was and how much she loved me, but it was clearly all an act. I feel completely blindsided by this, as our relationship and everything was real to me,” Melissa told NW Magazine

The text message from Jules— who reportedly called Mel a “sh*t friend” allegedly read: “Just cause I said it on a show doesn’t meant [sic] I have to do it.”

After the scandal grabbed headlines, their fellow MAFS co-star, Jessika Power, weighed in on the drama, siding with Mel in an unexpected yet blistering Instagram attack. Responding to an article about the juicy scandal, Jessika wrote: “I actually have to back Mel on this. Throughout filming, Jules would say Martha [Kalifatidis] and I were only there for social media and endorsements, but since the show ended it seems that’s all Jules is for also.

“It’s really sad to see that Jules dropped Mel as a bridesmaid but not surprising, it seems everything that woman does these days is calculated and beneficial for her and her only.

Then, in an Instagram Q&A, Jess took another swipe at her archenemy, slamming her for allegedly being an expert at “milking” the drama and turning bad press into a profit.

“I think Mel is such a bubbly girl. She’s not about the drama. She’s so open, honest and genuine,” Jessika began. “So to see her dropped as a bridesmaid… I wasn’t that shocked. I stand by what I said and a lot of what Jules does is calculative. I think she has learnt how to milk what is happening.”

She went on to sarcastically praise, saying: “I mean, good on you and all power to you if you can get things out of this opportunity. But to see somebody like Mel hurt and be shout out and neglected… it’s just sh*t.”

Cam and Jules’ Wedding – An ACA Special Event airs Tuesday 19th November at 7pm on Nine.
