In addition to that, the former host of the Today show attached the song “P.I.M.P” by 50 Cent to the Instagram story.

Karl is a proud Queensland supporter and a big fan of rugby league in general.

During last year’s State of Origin, his wife Jasmine Stefanovic posted a picture of the Channel 9 star wearing a Queensland jersey with his name on it as he watched the match.

“Can anyone explain what I’ve gotten myself into with this one,” Karl’s wife wrote in the caption.

This isn’t the first time Karl has shown his love for rugby league on social media.

Last year, he posted a photo with his father-in-law, Bob Yarbough, on Instagram.

The two could be seen watching a women’s rugby match, and Karl wrote in the caption:

“Can’t tell you how much @bobyarby and I loved the NRL Women’s rugby league final. Power skill and energy. Love to see more of it. Congrats broncs.”

The good news comes after Karl’s toughest year yet, during which he was axed from the Today Show.
