They say you can never go back home once you leave, but Kate Ritchie who played Sally Fletcher on Home and Away for 20 years, still holds onto some of her most prized Summer Bay souvenirs, including her school uniform.
Ritchie, 37, who played the beloved character from 1988-2008 was still a child when first cast as the adoptive daughter of Pippa and Tom Fletcher and spent many of her years in the iconic Summer Bay High costume.
The mother-of-one who now works in radio, recently slipped back into the dress, showing off her fit post-baby figure in a 20 year throwback photo with her co-host Tim Blackwell, 34.
The co-hosts also joked how Sally was romantically involved with Heath Ledger’s character Scott Irwin, although their affair did not last long, and Heath moved to Hollywood becoming an international movie star before his untimely death in 2008.
“I think it was a romantic rendezvous in the back of a panel van,” the actress reminisced.
