Katy Perry announced as the next guest on ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Exciting news for Katy Perry fans as the star is set to appear on James Corden’s popular singing segment, Carpool Karaoke during The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special 2017.

The TV host confirmed the news in a tweet, writing: “Carpool Karaoke with @KatyPerry is coming Monday, May 22!”

The “Chained to the Rhythm” singer replied to the tweet, writing: “READY FOR THIS RIDE!!! (insert vine: I’m in me mum’s car broom broom).”

The special event will also include Corden’s favourite clips from the past year including Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Britney Spears and Adele.
