Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been struggling to see eye to eye on various issues since the pop sensation announced they were expecting their first child together.

A source close to the singer, 35, and her actor fiance, 43, recently told US Weekly their relationship has been rocky in recent months, with the pair experiencing a “some ups and downs”.
“Orlando and her are having some ups and downs right now. Katy is dealing with the nerves of being a first-time parent, and Orlando is stressing about having a baby in their lives at this time.”

In spite of this, their pal claims the American Idol judge is “overjoyed and elated that she is pregnant” and cannot wait to be a mum!
After one failed attempt, Katy announced a baby girl was on the way in March, revealing the news in the music video for her hit track, “Never Worn White”.
“I’m excited, we’re excited and we’re happy – and it’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep,” she said.
“I’m so grateful for everything that I have been able to do and achieve and all the goals that I’ve been kind of able to check off my list and dreams and the life I’ve lived thus far, and I think I’ve just been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged and like, you know, creating space for something new to happen like this,” she also said during an interview on SiriusXM, adding her pregnancy “wasn’t on accident”.
“And I think we were both looking forward to this new interval of life and sharing this, so, that’s kind of how it happens, you know?”

In February, the “Hot and Cold” singer revealed Orlando had popped the question, four years after they went public with their romance at the Golden Globes.
Speaking about their engagement the songstress told Jimmy Kimmel: “It was very sweet. We went to dinner and I thought we were going to see some art after dinner but we ended up in a helicopter where he asked me to marry him. We landed on a rooftop and my whole family was there and all of my friends. It was really sweet.”

She later showed off her gorgeous engagement ring, with her mum Mary Hudson also sharing a few photos from the romantic proposal to her Facebook page.
“Look who got engaged on Valentine’s Day,” she captioned the post showing the “Roar” singer cuddling up to the dad-of-one— who shares 9-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr— beneath a giant heart-shaped floral arrangement.
