According to insiders close to the Destiny’s Child star, the 38-year-old hit maker is seriously considering stepping away from the singing competition in the hopes of growing her family with her husband of four years, Tim Weatherspoon.

The rumours come months after the US-based singer opened up to TV Week magazine about her desire to give their four-year-old son, Titan a baby sister or brother.

“I love our family dynamic now, But I am itching to have another child,” she said in May 2019. “The only thing is I’m a very emotional, ferocious mother bear, and I don’t know what I would have to do in that moment. I’m literally working my butt off right now so I can sit down and be still with my children.

While she’s yet to confirm her departure from the hit Channel Nine series, Kelly’s has a tough run on this season of The Voice. On Monday night’s episode, the pop sensation was left “gutted” when two of her team members were eliminated from the competition

“I’m speechless to be honest. Just speechless… just speechless. Speechless. Really gutted,” the US star said through tears. “It is honestly a reminder for people to vote for their favourites. I mean, I’m just so shocked.”

Now it looks like Kelly’s chances of repeating last year’s success— her contestant Sam Perry took out The Voice crown in 2018— are slipping away as she’s left with just one contestant, fan favourite Zeek Power.
