Barack Obama’s been getting a little sassy lately (presumably because he’s on the way out) and we absolutely love it!
This time it was at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Amongst the extremely glamorous array of guests was Kendall Jenner, and she got a VERY special shout out from the President.
According to Obama’s speech, the two met backstage before the dinner. However, Obama couldn’t resist giving the 20-year-old a mention.
“She seems like a very nice young woman… I’m not exactly sure what she does. But I am told that my Twitter mentions are about to go through the roof.”
Naturally, Kris Jenner got defensive and posted a clip of the jab on Instagram with the caption “I see you.”
Kendall can be seen in the audience, looking perhaps a bit lost for words. She did take it well though, laughing off the joke with the rest of the audience.
Later Jenner admitted that Obama was the only person who has left her star struck.
You can always rely on Obama to keep it real with a classic Dad joke. Particularly the mic-drop he finished his speech with.
