When Kim Kardashian launched her new KKW Beauty body foundation last week, sisters Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian plastered glowing reviews on all of their social media accounts. And when Kourtney sent out a new Poosh goodie bag two weeks ago, her sisters filmed and uploaded a handful of videos to their Instagram stories frothing over all the organic products.

Basically, what I’m trying to say is when it comes to promoting each other’s business endeavours, the Kardashian/Jenner family go above and beyond. They’re all about showing their support with some social media love for the brand… except for Kendall Jenner, she couldn’t care less.

When the makeup mogul, who’s the founder of Kylie Cosmetics and mum to Stormi Webster, launched her skincare line, Kylie Skin, unlike her sisters—who flaunted the walnut face scrub, toner, eye cream, moisturiser and face wash online— the supermodel was noticeably quiet on social media. In fact, it’s now come out that the Victoria’s Secret angel hasn’t tried anything from the billionaire’s new skincare brand and doesn’t plan to.

“I’m stuck to my routine,” Kendall told Bustle at Proactiv’s new Paint Positivity campaign in New York City. “I don’t want to do too much.”

While some may have taken her comments as unsupportive or insulting, it kind of makes sense. Kendall, who’s recently been open about her battle with acne, is the face of the brand Proactive and maintains that their cleanser and spot treatment products are the only ones that work for her.

“I honestly had never really spoken about my acne before, but a lot of people had seen me struggling with it mostly through paparazzi photos or the Golden Globes,” she said. “I had exhausted all other options, I was desperate, and I was like ‘You know what? I’m gonna try [Proactiv]. It was such an awesome experience for me and really helped me.”

Since using Proactive’s skincare products regularly, Kendall said her skin has never been more clear.

“A couple of my siblings struggled when they were much younger, but they never really had it like I did,” Kendall said. “That was also kind of a tough thing for me: to look at my beautiful sisters with beautiful skin and be like, ‘Okay, well, why me? What’s wrong with me?’ One zit can really freak you out because you’re like ‘Oh no, are we going backwards again?’ But I try not to think too deeply about it because I know it’s going to be all good,” the runway model said. “I want everyone to know I’m okay, and you can be okay too.”

Perhaps when Kylie launches her “personalised skincare” which she claims will be for “acne prone skin, dry skin, congested and oily skin” in the near future, Kendall will get around that.
