Over the weekend, the singer helped another same-sex couple get one step closer to their dream of getting married when she assisted in their engagement over the weekend during a recent performance at Disney World.
In a video of the moment, Kesha, 29, allowed a fan to invite his partner on stage so that he could pop the question. After getting down on one knee to ask, his boyfriend also takes a knee to give him the all-important answer – yes!
The newly engaged fan of the “Tik Tok” singer later took to Instagram to share the special moment.
“He said yes!!! #engaged #engayged #lovewins #gaykeshaproposal,” he captioned the pics.
Last September the pop star officiated the wedding of her hairstylist, Vittorio Masecchia, and his now-husband, Felipe Noqueria, marking the second ceremony she’s done for a friend.
She was first ordained in 2012 before she officiated the wedding of two female friends and has been vocal about her support of equal rights for the LGBT community.
“It was such an amazing experience to help two beautiful women cement their commitment to each other through marriage,” she told CBS when she married the couple. “I can’t understand why any person or any law would stand in-between that kind of love.”
