After Kim Kardashian West and her least favourite sister Kourtney’s agonising feud played out on this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the Poosh founder shocked fans earlier this month when she confirmed she’d quit their hit reality series.

Despite claiming her departure was based on wanting to spend time more time with her three children— Penelope, Reign and Mason— those closest to the star are calling her bluff. An insider friendly with Kourtney and Kim— who is well aware of their strained dynamic— recently told Radar Online she didn’t leave the show on her own accord, rather was pushed out by her younger sister.
“Kourt is accusing Kim of forcing her off the show by belittling and cutting her out of the loop for months if not years now,” the pal dished, adding she was backed into a corner and had no choice but to tap out. “She’s convinced this all started because Kim got jealous that she was losing her divine right to be next in line to her mom, and bit by bit she’s used her influence to undermine Kourtney at every turn.”
Kim’s alleged actions align with claims tension between the pair continues when the cameras stop rolling, with rumours swirling they “can’t stand to be in the same room as each other”.
“Kourtney has hated Kim for a couple of years now. She thinks she’s vapid and mean,” a well-placed insider told Radar Online in October. “Their egos have clashed big time and when the cameras aren’t on, they don’t speak. There are hints of their feud, of course, but the reality is they genuinely can’t stand each other.
“Kourtney has much better things to do with her time thank kiss up to Kim,” the source continued, adding Kim believes Kourtney “would be nobody without her”.
Kourtney all but confirmed these claims were accurate during a recent interview in which she was asked why she and the Skims founder constantly bicker.
“It’s up and down a lot,” she said of their relationship on The Real, before the journalist asked why both Khloe and Kim were shooting daggers at their sister. “Because they gang up on me all day,” she angrily added before Kim interjected, saying: “Welcome to my life. That’s what you did to me my whole life until two years ago.”
As we know, tension reached boiling point during a recent episode of KUWTK, with the sisters butting heads over their daughters’ joint birthday bash. The blow-up began when Kourtney expressed her desire to exclude all junk food from the Candyland themed party, which Kim thought was utterly ridiculous.
“She has this vision of no sugar or no disgusting chemicals in candy. It’s like a completely sugar-free, gluten-free, party-free, fun-free zone because Kourtney has decided that it just doesn’t make sense,” Kim said during a confessional.
Kim’s anger escalated when Kourt mentioned the theme wasn’t on-brand for her.
“My brand is not unhealthy,” Kourtney said before Kim savagely replied: “This is about a kids’ party. This is not about your brand….Then why does your car have leather seats? Why are you wearing plastic glasses?”
“I just don’t understand why Kim isn’t trying to compromise at all and she doesn’t feel guilty about giving not only her kids and my kids, but all these kids coming to the party so much junk and candy. It’s such a dated vibe to be like that,” the mum to Reign, Penelope and Mason concluded.
