Kim Kardashian West is remembering her father this Thanksgiving.
On Thursday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared a home video that the late Robert Kardashian Sr. filmed of her celebrating Thanksgiving in 1985.
In the clip on her website and app, a 5-year-old Kardashian West is all smiles after starring in what was likely her school play, dressed as a Native American.
“Kimberly, you did such a good job,” says her dad, who died of cancer in 2003. “You held the flag up there beautifully, didn’t you?”
“Did you see Mommy and Daddy?” he asks as the clip cuts to a shot of Kardashian West cuddling with her mum, Kris Jenner.
Kardashian West, 37, also shared a Thanksgiving edition of her “Currently” list, revealing that her favourite memory from the holiday was skiing with her dad in Vail every year.
This year, while Khloé Kardashian is in Cleveland, it remains unclear where the rest of the famous family is celebrating — but Kardashian West said their most important annual tradition is always getting “the whole family together — or at least as many of us as possible.”
Other revelations? Her favourite Thanksgiving host is sister Kylie Jenner(sorry, Khloé!), she can’t wait to eat cranberry sauce from the can — “That’s all I like for Thanksgiving!” — and she’s going to be baking some special turkey-shaped Rice Krispie treats.
And last but not least, the star — who is expecting her third child via a surrogate — revealed what she’s most grateful for this year: “My health and the health of my family.”
