Kit Harington has revealed that the fate of beloved Game of Thrones character Jon Snow was not as tightly held a secret as fans believed.
Over the season break, Kit got into a spot of bother with the police when he was caught driving too fast on his way to his parent’s house.
Recalling the incident to Jimmy Fallon, the police officer gave the actor two choices, either surrender himself (and be escorted to the police station) or surrender the world’s most closely guarded television secret, the fate of Jon Snow.
Kit chose the later. “I looked at him and said, ‘I’m alive next season.’ And he says, ‘On your way, Lord Commander.’”
The police officer joined a select group of people including Kit’s family and US President Barack Obama who knew that Jon Snow would resurrect after lying on the cold, hard, ground.
