It’s finally been announced! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced earlier this week that their child is a boy! Now, they’ve revealed his name: Archie!

Of course, the first thought in many people’s minds was Riverdale’s Archie Andrews… and KJ Apa, who plays Archie in the hit series, and pal Kiernan Shipka couldn’t agree more!
This morning, the actress posted a photo alongside KJ with the caption, “me & the royal baby. congrats meghan & harry!”
Netflix also joined in on the conversation, poking fun at the name.
“And y’all thought you were the biggest Riverdale stans. Welcome royal baby Archie, earl of Riverdale,” the streaming service wrote on their Instagram page.
