Lara Worthington has shared a series of rare and candid photos from a star-studded event she attended on Wednesday evening. But fans have recognised one of her celeb pals – and it’s not who we expected!

Taking to Instagram, the model and mum-of-three, 33, uploaded five black and white photos from the Sydney fashion event hosted by Chanel.
“I didn’t take a single photo, but thankfully @darren_mcdonald did 🙂 Thank you for a beautiful evening @chanelofficial @youngjaynefiona @arielle.davies,” Lara captioned her post.
In the snaps, also shared by photographer Darren McDonald to his own Instagram Stories, Lara oozes effortless glamour in a long sleeve crop top and black high-waisted trousers by the designer label.
However one photo caught fans’ eyes as it featured Lara smiling alongside Gabriella Brooks, a 24-year-old fellow model who also happens to be Liam Hemsworth’s girlfriend.
In another photo, Lara sweetly cosies up to her actor husband, Sam Worthington, 44, as they sit at a dinner table.
Whilst Sam can be seen deep in conversation, his wife holds on to his arm as she looks at the camera.
“You and Sam look good together,” one fan remarked on Lara’s post.
The event was also attended by big names including Isla Fisher, Rita Ora and Bella Heathcote – the latter of whom popped up in some of Lara’s photos.
Despite seeing success in the US, Lara and Sam, along with their three kids Rocket, Racer and River, returned to Australia so that Sam could star in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Appropriate.
However it seems unlikely that the family will be moving back anytime soon with Lara admitting to the Daily Telegraph that she’s loving life Down Under.
“My whole schedule is based around my sons, and my husband Sam,” the mum-of-three told the publication, adding that she can’t believe how different her life is now.
“Recently through the very wet period in Sydney, I did a shoot in between dropping and collecting my sons from school. Looking at the photos, you would never imagine the reality of my before and after. I love that no matter how glamorous my day can be, being a mother pulls me right back into my wild and wonderful reality.”
As for Gabriella, according to Us Weekly she and Liam have “been getting serious” and wedding bells could be ringing soon!
“They’re not ones to make it known to the public, but their friends and family sure are in the know about how close they are and how an engagement can be right around the corner,” a source told the publication, adding that Liam “went through a lot with his breakup” with Miley Cyrus.
“Liam looks up to his brothers and would love to one day also have that long-lasting marriage with a partner. He’s ready to be a husband — he just wants to be super confident in his relationship with Gabriella before he gets down on one knee!”
