Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese reteam for new film

The dynamic duo are back for their sixth film together

Hollywood heavyweights, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are teaming up again for their sixth film together.

Imperative Entertainment has revealed that Scorsese is on board to direct and DiCaprio to star in the feature film, Killers of the Flower Moon.

The film will be an adaptation of the New York Times best-selling novel, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann.

The film is expected to be Scorsese and DiCaprio’s next project.

“When I read David Grann’s book, I immediately started seeing it—the people, the settings, the action—and I knew that I had to make it into a movie,” said Scorsese.

“I’m so excited to be working with Eric Roth and reuniting with Leo DiCaprio to bring this truly unsettling American story to the screen.”

Set in the Oklahoma in the 1920’s, the film will tell the true story of the murders of the Osage People after large oil deposits were found on their land. As the death toll rose, the newly created FBI took on the case and discovered a chilling conspiracy surrounding their deat

Scorsese and DiCaprio most recently worked on Wolf of Wall Street together.

Imperative Entertainment are currently scouting locations and production is set to commence in 2019.

The film will mark the sixth feature film Scorsese and DiCaprio have worked on together. They also collaborated on Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island and most recently, The Wolf of Wall Street.
