Liam Payne has stepped out on the red carpet for the first time with girlfriend Cheryl, (formerly Cheryl Versini-Fernandez). The couple made quite the entrance at the Global Gift Gala in Paris where Cheryl was awarded for her philanthropy work.
The One Direction singer couldn’t stop beaming with his new lady-love by his side, posting this supportive tweet.
Cheryl was equally as smitten with her beau, as he whispered into her ear.
The Global Gift Philanthropist’s Award was given to the 32-year-old singer on account of her work with Cheryl’s Trust. A charity set up in conjunction with the work of The Prince’s trust. Its aim is to provide help and support to disadvantaged youth in the North East of England.
The lovebirds first met on the set of the X-Factor after Liam auditioned for a role on the talent program. Despite the 10-year age gap, the pair has been inseparable in recent months, and have been seen at some of London’s trendiest spots.
The two singers became an item earlier this year after Cheryl’s marriage to Jean-Bernard Versini-Fernandez collapsed.
Also in attendance at the Global Gift Gala were fellow actress/philanthropist Eva Longoria along with Ronan Keating and his Australian wife Storm.
