She’s coming Down Under. Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan has been announced as a judge on the Australian version of The Masked Singer.
“Look out Australia, I’m coming,” Lohan told The Daily Telegraph. ”The Masked Singer is such a fun concept that really gets everyone hooked and wanting more. I am definitely going to see if I can try a few of the costumes on also. I am very excited about the trip and being on the panel to judge the show.”
The 33-year-old Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club star will be taking her seat on the panel alongside pop princess Dannii Minogue, KIIS FM’s Jackie “O” Henderson, and Australian comedian Dave Hughes.
Hosted by The Bachelor Australia’s veteran presenter Osher Günsberg, 45, the singing competition— which was a huge success in the United States and Korea— will follow 12 Australian celebrities who will be dressed in outrageous costumes so their identity is hidden. Judged on their vocal abilities and performance, each episode one A-lister will be unmasked.
“The show has already been a huge success and I can only imagine it will get bigger,” Lohan said. “Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try to guess who’s behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be part of such an amazing show.”
“It is the first singing show that is voted on performance alone, till the very end,” Dannii Minogue added. “There is so much secrecy about the performers that I think this show will be a hot ticket — my friends are already trying to get an audience seat,” she added.
