Actress Liv Tyler played the model of grace and serenity as elven heroine Arwen in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Now on the dystopian drama The Leftovers, she plays an intense cult leader.
As a mum, Tyler is content to be somewhere in between.
“I’m completely blissed out,” Tyler, 39, tells WHO of life with new daughter Lula Rose, whom she welcomed on July 8, and kids Sailor, 18 months, Milo, 11, and stepson Gray 9, courtesy of her fiancé David Gardner.
“It’s a whole new world, juggling four,” she adds. “This is definitely one where everyone is chipping in.”
Evidence of the team effort is apparent on Tyler’s Instagram feed, filled with pics of Gardner, the kids and the realness of parenting, including a shot of her breastfeeding Lula that she captioned, “Sunday morning snuggles with my baby girl. So grateful for this precious gift.”
On her candid snap, Tyler says, “There should be no stigma about feeding a baby.”
Between shooting the third and final season of The Leftovers in Melbourne and collaborating on designs for a 12-piece Belstaff brand collection, Tyler is all about family time.
“I keep sitting with all the children around me, and David,” Tyler says, “and keep pinching myself, going, ‘Am I dreaming?’ This is amazing.'”
