Australia has seen some incredible fashion wins at the TV WEEK Logie Awards through the years, but even with all the red carpet hits, there have been a few questionable style choices too.

The outfits weren’t always horrible, per se, but we’ve found a collection of styles that left us scratching our heads, as well as some that simply haven’t stood the test of time.
Because while Y2K may be back in fashion, some trends really should stay in the 2000s… mullet dresses, specifically.
From bizarre ensembles, to quirky hats and dresses that take us right back to 2009, these are the wildest outfits we’ve seen on the TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpet through the years.

Pauline Hanson
Who remembers when Pauline Hanson rocked up to the 2005 TV WEEK Logie Awards in this embellished feathered number? No one? Okay, thank god it’s not just us. This dress was certainly an interesting choice for the politician, who usually keeps her fashion quite modest.
Margot Robbie
Margot, who did this to you? The Hollywood actress was just a local soap star when she arrived at the 2009 red carpet in this high-low dress, which should stay in the 2000s where it belongs.
Ada Nicodemou
This Home and Away beauty has had so many stunning looks on the TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpets through the years, but this metallic number with lace detailing from 2007 wasn’t her finest. Or maybe it’s just the huge hair throwing us off…
Bec Hewitt
Back when she was Bec Cartwright, the Aussie star braved the 2002 red carpet in a fuchsia velvet dress with a halter neck and ruffles down the thigh-split. It was a brave move, but we’re not sure it paid off.
The cast of Hi-5
Need a healthy hit of nostalgia? Just check out this photo of the Hi-5 cast in 2006, decked out in their 2000s best… AKA sparkles, hot pink and some questionable sunnies. Pregnant Kathleen is the ‘star’ of this particularly ill-fated style moment, with a sheer bedazzled top that let her baby bump peek through.
Brynne Edelsten
Of course Brynne’s 2010 outfit made this list! It appeared to be inspired by the Lady Marmalade music video featuring P!nk and Christina Aguilera, to name a few, and certainly drew attention on the red carpet that year.
Portia de Rossi
She’s married to Ellen DeGeneres now, but back in 1994 Portia was hitting the TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpet. While her lilac dress was lovely, we just don’t understand what was going on with her hair – did her crimping iron die mid-crimp? Was her hairstylist mad at her?
Joel Turner
Not sure who told Australian Idol star Joel that ultra baggy denim-on-denim was the way to go for the TV WEEK Logie Awards in 2005, but he really committed to the look.
Lee Lin Chin
She’s a bona fide fashion icon, but this particular ensemble from the 2015 TV WEEK Logie Awards left us scratching out heads. The giant black hat, paired with gold shoes and white lace gloves and leggings was an interesting choice, to say the least.
Jeannie Little
In 2004 the late Jeannie hit the red carpet in this elegant ensemble, complete with three huge doves that sat just above her chic opera gloves. Honestly, this look was iconic and we still kind of love it today.
