Contestants from Married At First Sight have spilled on what really went on behind the scenes on the night of their wedding.

Cheryl and Jonathan from Monday’s night’s episode were the first couple to take the plunge down the aisle and appeared affectionate as the photographer snapped away.

Although they shared a bed that night, Jonathan insisted he was a gentleman.

“It was never my intent to make an advance,” he said. “And the camera was there.”

Cheryl, on the other hand, was much more cryptic.

“You’ll never know,” she told producers cheekily.

Meanwhile, Sean and Susan seemed smitten from the get-go.

The happy couple couldn’t wait to head to their hotel room after the ceremony and started the night with a romantic bubble bath.

“Last night was incredible,” Sean gushed.

“That bath was sensational.”

Love was also in the air for last night’s couple, Michael and Scarlett.

Although Michael failed to win over Scarlett’s mother, the aspiring writer seemed thrilled with her new hubby and kissed him playfully at the reception.

Back at their honeymoon suite, Scarlett slipped into silk pyjamas while Michael opted for a long-sleeved hoodie and striped pyjama bottoms. The two went to bed together and appeared very at ease with one another’s company.

The final couple, Nadia and Anthony, were off to a slow start as Nadia refused to kiss him when they exchanged nuptials.

She warmed up to him as the night went on and gave him permission to sleep on the same bed (but made sure to put a pillow fort in-between them as a precaution).
