Sarah Roza’s Married At First Sight marriage may not have had a fairytale ending, but she hasn’t sworn off finding love on reality TV. In fact, the 42-year-old reality star reckons she’d be the perfect candidate for The Bachelorette!

Whilst we’ve loved the previous leading ladies, from Sam Frost right through the Miles sisters, there hasn’t exactly been much diversity in the franchise.
However, former MAFS bride Sarah reckons she’d be a breath of fresh air for the franchise for several reasons if she were cast.
“I’m vibrantly confident and a curvyfit woman in the prime of her life at 42 years young! Even though I’ve dealt with some of life’s toughest blows, I still keep going. I believe in true love, I know it’s out there for me and I yearn for my happily ever after,” she exclusively tell WHO.
“I would be something completely different for the Australian viewing public who are so very tired of the usual cookie cutter Bachelorette choices. It’s seriously time to shake things up by making this show much more relatable and fresh for 2021!”

Not only would Sarah be unlike any previous Bachelorette, but she adds that the sort of guy she’d go for wouldn’t be your run-of-the-mill contestant.
The 42-year-old says that anyone in their twenties who’s after more Instagram followers and sponsorship deals need not apply should she star on the hit dating show.
“Give me a REAL down to earth man who’s gone through hell and back in the fire of life’s greatest challenges,” she says.
“Whilst chiselled abs and cartwheeling magicians are fun to look at, they’re just not very good at helping a real long term relationship to prosper and I want someone who will work with me daily on the latter.”
“Ideally someone who is 35-50 who is genuinely there for the right reasons, who is done with his party boy days and looking to settle down.”
Sarah adds that she’s one to go for the traditionally good guys – men with huge hearts and charm as well as a bit of grit and resilience.
“To me usually the sexiest men are the ones with kind personalities, gorgeous smiles and cute dad-bods,” she admits.
“Men who have been married, divorced or widowed, men with kids and still want at least one more child, or even guys who previously only focused on their careers and now feel ready to find love would all be perfect candidates for me.
At the end of the day, Sarah says the perfect guy is someone with tenacity, compassion and loyalty.
“Australians deserve a proper adult love story with lots of heartfelt depth and stories from genuine participants that the entire country could fall in love with. Hopefully The Bachelorette can do what MAFS couldn’t…”
In a previous chat with WHO, Sarah, who was matched with Telv Williams on season five of MAFS, admitted that finding Mr Right has been trickier since she starred on the show.
“Dating is almost impossible!” she said back in February, explaining that though she’s on a couple of online dating sites, she’s not constantly swiping.
“It is actually a lot more difficult – I think people think men are beating down our doors but that’s not the situation at all. If anything I feel like a lot of people are scared to be in the limelight because of some of the stuff that can happen like trolling and not being able to go to certain places because someone will recognise you.”
