Margot Robbie scores role of Maid Marion

Margot Robbie has just scored a huge role to play Maid Marion in a Robin Hood inspired movie.

The film, titled Marion, will see Robbie play the lead.

The classic Robin Hood storyline will take on a new twist which sees Marion leading her people to war following the tragic death of her lover Robin Hood.

Variety report that Robbie’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment will produce the film alongside SONY.

Robbie recently wrapped filming I, Tonya, a biopic based on the scandalous life of competitive ice skater Tonya Harding.
