Margot Robbie sent social media into meltdown when she announced she got married in December last year, with a cheeky ring photo on Instagram, but it appears she may have had the ceremony a lot earlier.
According to Page Six, the 27-year-old Suicide Squad actress tied the knot with Tom Ackerley, also 27, three years ago.
Robbie attended the Hamptons International Film Festival last week where she reportedly admitted the surprising news about her nuptials.
A source for the publication said: “A guest congratulated her on her first-year wedding anniversary. Margot responded, “It’s been three years.”‘
Which is confusing as it was originally reported that the couple had got married in a ceremony Down Under.
The Australian beauty also shared a very iconic snap posing with her ring finger lifted featuring her new sparkler.
Regardless of when the ceremony took place, the actress recently told Us Weekly that not much had changed in their relationship since they tied the knot.
“My husband and I were roommates before we were even dating, so I’m kind of living with my roommate and it’s awesome.”
“We lived with a bunch of people and now we’re just living [as] the two of us, so we feel very grown up now.”
