Married At First Sight bride Alana Lister copped some flack when she cooked dinner for her on-screen husband Jason Engler in red lingerie. Now, the season eight bride has now shared a throwback to that moment along with a very important message.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 30-year-old teacher shared a sexy photo of herself in her red lingerie smiling for the camera, her then-husband just visible in the frame.
However, it was her caption that had people cheering.
“BTS Red Lingerie Jason scene,” she wrote with a red love heart emoji.
“‘Educate your sons, don’t shame your daughters.'”
Many of Alana’s fans and followers praised her for her wise words.
“This is not shame! Educate yourselves. It’s 2021,” Beck Zemek commented.
“Yes babe! Enough with the shaming!” exclaimed Beth Moore, who was partnered with Russell Duance.
“You go girlfriend!!” Sam Carraro, whose marriage to Coco Stedman didn’t last, noted.
Even last year’s contestant Hayley Vernon cheered Alana on, writing: “Damn straight.”
Prior to the post, the MAFS bride, who is no longer with her TV husband Jason, also shared a video thanking all her “queens” for their love and support and responded to the “Karens” who sent her messages about what she was wearing and not wearing on social media and what a man would think of her because of that.
“Firstly, that’s a man’s problem and secondly, thank you for your concern but I’m doing just fine,” she told the camera.
“I wish I had the time to educate you on world history and discrimination and sexism and politics and morals and ethics and socialisation and I feel like if I did you would maybe understand that the reasons that you think the things you think are because you are just simply a product of a hugely corrupt, archaic system that forces women to hate women and shame them just because of their sexuality.
“It’s outdated and it’s oppressive and it doesn’t have place in our society in 2021.”
In a chat with Hobart’s Jimmy and Nath back in March, Alana hit back at critics who slammed her for wearing such a sexy, revealing outfit.
“I was feeling it, I wanted to do it and people are having their little whinges about saying ‘It’s not progressive, how can you do that to women?'” she recalled to the radio duo.
“Right now we’re in the middle of a women’s movement and if I want to put my lingerie on and feel sexy I’m gonna do it because I can do it. That is actually the opposite of being oppressed – that is being allowed to be sexy if I want to be sexy.
“I actually love that it brings up this conversation because these are things I’m passionate about. When people get all antsy about I’m like ‘Yeah let’s talk about it.'”
