If there isn’t a cheating scandal going on, you can bet someone on Married At First Sight has a secret someone waiting on the outside for them. And unsurprisingly, it’s Bryce Ruthven who’s at the centre of this year’s rumours.

The rumours started earlier this month when a source close to the production said Bryce was seeing a girl from Canberra for around “three to four months” after he called off his engagement and confided in a MAFS contestant about her.
“He told them he had been seeing a girl before production started,” the source told Woman’s Day.
“He was texting her… And at one point he even FaceTimed her.”
The source added that Bryce wanted to go to the mystery girl’s 30th birthday party in Canberra.
“It was happening during a break in filming but when he asked the producers they flat out refused,” the insider spilled.
“He went and brought her a present and sent it off to her.”
Speaking on the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto added that the secret girlfriend, who is reportedly named Courtney, wasn’t even a secret and that all of Bryce’s friends knew about her – even the ones at the TV wedding!
“He had a secret girlfriend the entire time during filming Married At First Sight, back in Canberra,” Megan revealed.
“He lied to her and convinced her that he was just doing the show to further his career and he asked her to wait for him. She agreed. So then he kept her on the sly the entire time.”
Bryce reportedly stayed with Courtney until just a week before the final vows and since he revealed to WHO that he has officially moved to Melbourne, it sounds like Bryce decided to give things with his MAFS wife Melissa a real go.
What’s more, Bryce’s MAFS co-star Bec has revealed that Bryce confessed about his “girl on the outside” to her just after Honesty Week.
“He was seeing a girl and his mate asked him if he wanted to get her a gift,” Bec told TV WEEK.
“He told me, in the gym, this information, along with telling me that he placed me first on the hottest/nottest little rating, as well as telling me that it would be easy enough to get to the end of the experiment with Melissa.
“I’m telling you now, he was flirting with me in the gym and he was talking down about Melissa.”
Meanwhile Bryce has denied everything, telling TV WEEK: “It’s news to me…I was only in the ACT for 12 weeks so I must have been having a good time.”
In a previous chat with WHO, Bryce slammed rumours that he ended things with his ex-fiancée Lana to star on the reality dating show.
“I’ve said it before but I’d checked out of that relationship about six months before I ended it.”
As for Bryce’s bride Melissa, she’s been cringing watching herself back whenever drama arises with her husband.
“It is hard to watch back. I get very triggered,” she told New Idea.
“I wouldn’t change the way I handled Bryce’s comments because I was 100% me at the time.”
