Taking to Instagram on Monday night, the 30-year-old former MAFS bride shared a split screen image of herself before and after her transformation. The two photos were taken 18 months apart.
“I get so many heartbreaking messages about women being ashamed of their bodies, scared to go to the gym, feeling like they are at rock bottom and not knowing where to start,” she wrote in her caption.
“My sweet angels, I have been there. I wasn’t born skinny- it’s always been a struggle for me. Food was my go to thing rather than facing my emotions.
“Now I am not saying happiness comes from being a lower fat percentage- definitely not! However, what you do gain is pride. Pride in your hard work and commitment. This wasn’t just a body transformation, this was a soul transformation, this was waking up and choosing to face my demons instead of eating them. This is choosing my mental and physical well-being. This is knowing I’ll have my bad days but showing up for myself regardless.”
Coco finished by remarking: “Most of all this is knowing that it’s human to struggle and what you choose to do with the struggle is completely up to you. Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light. I believe in you.”
Fans loved Coco’s positive message and shared their delight in the comments.
Fellow fitness professional and former MAFS groom Michael Brunelli wrote: “Love this! We are going to achieve some incredible things.”
“RESPECT!” exclaimed season five MAFS bride Gabrielle Bartlett.
“Yaaay for the Albus Dumbledore quote!” one Harry Potter fan observed.
If you’re wondering what the secret is to Coco’s enviable figure, the 30-year-old is a big fan of Pilates and in 2017, she left a job that was “slowly killing” her to open her own studio, KX Miranda.
In May last year, Coco shared a sweet message to mark her business’ second birthday calling it her “baby” and “the love of my life.”
“What a wild journey” she mused on Instagram.
“If you’ve ever been through my doors know that I am so grateful and hope you loved it as much as I do. The tears I have cried have only been surpassed by the laughs we’ve had.”
This isn’t the first photo Coco has shared of herself where she looks totally different.
Earlier this month, the MAFS star shared unseen photos from her real-life wedding to her first husband, which took place in 2018 where she sported blonde hair.
“A few of you wanted to see photos of me blonde. Here’s one of my favourite shots from my first wedding,” she captioned the post.
