Married at First Sight star Cyrell’s family meltdown has everyone talking tonight – with her brother’s freak out over the prospect of a TV wedding causing the bride a lot of anxiety and drama.
As the only member of her large family who is not yet married, Cyrell was feeling the pressure, and the prospect of her TV wedding to Nicolas wasn’t helping matters.
‘Dad, Ma, s***… I’m getting married. I don’t know my husband yet. Basically, I’m getting married to a total stranger,’ she announced, to a fiery reaction to protective brother Ivan.
‘That’s up to you,’ he ranted. ‘You’ve always been like that. You do s*** without telling us, when did you ever tell us anything.’

Ivan minced no words in his condemnation, explaining: ‘It’s a big shock I always wanted the best for my sister.’
Big brother said he only wanted the best for his sister, fearing she was still too fragile after a failed engagement. ‘Get yourself together first and then think about getting married,’ he told his sister.
Cyrell’s brother was so incensed at the prospect of his sister being involved in the tacky TV stunt, that he point blank refused to attend the ceremony.
‘I’m not going to the wedding. Plain and simple.’
