It’s all out in the open now! Married At First Sight‘s Jake Edwards and his new girlfriend Sophie Guidolin have finally gone Instagram official with their first stunning couple photo.
Taking to Instagram on Monday night, fitness influencer Sophie uploaded a photo of Jake holding her on a deserted beach as they look into one another’s eyes.
Though the sky looks grey and stormy, a bright rainbow is clearly visible shining above them.
“Behind every storm is a rainbow,” Sophie captioned the romantic shot.
The first official couple photo was inundated with messages of congratulations to the newly-public couple.
“Ummmm, yassss you guys,” fellow influencer Bec Judd commented.
“So gorgeous. Wishing you both all the goods this universe has to offer. I think you’re both in safe hands,” noted another fan.
“Omg this is magical!!! So happy for you both,” a third remarked.
Photographer Beth McQueen also shared a selection of snaps from the photo shoot, captioning them: “A special shoot I’ve been holding onto.. we nearly got won over by a storm this day… but the shoot went on! Congratulations to these two gems @sophie_guidolin @jake_edwards_official.”
The couple are set to appear together on Sophie’s podcast, Flourish & Fulfilled with Sophie Guidolin, where they confirmed they will be answering fans’ biggest and most burning questions.
In a sneak peek uploaded to Sophie’s Instagram Stories, Jake can be seen sitting in the recording studio with his new leading lady and confirms: “Yes I’m in love.”
The clip goes on to show Sophie ask: “How did you know you were in love?” to which Jake replies: “It’s that feeling, I’ve never had it..,” before the video cuts off.
After the explosive MAFS finale when Jake’s on-screen wife Beck was exposed kissing a former flame, Jake revealed that he had not been in contact with his Sophie had been the ultimate support whilst the show was airing.
“Fortunately I’ve got a partner, I’ve met someone. So if she didn’t come into my life when she did, I honestly don’t think I’d know where I would be,” he told Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny on Monday.
“She’s just been extremely supportive and someone that I’m very grateful for, I think it starts there and as of today we can be normal, be public and get on that journey together.”
