The ridiculous affair storylines and blatant Instagram-fame-chasing antics that have overrun Married at First Sight this year have earned plenty of criticism from fans – and now one popular cast member has joined the fray.
Jules has added to the chorus of people crying BS – publicly confirming today that Jess and Dan’s relationship is totally fake.
The couple, who came together as a result of an alleged affair, were this week allowed to stay on the show together, undermining the whole premise of the so called ‘social experiment’. And Jules sees rights through it.
‘Some people would have done anything to stay to the end of that show. Anything,’ a brutally honest Jules told E! News.
‘I’m sorry Jess, but if it wasn’t Nic it was going to be someone else. He denied you, so you moved on. That’s the bottom line.
‘Maybe [Jess and Dan] do like each other, who are we to know? But with her past record, does anybody know what’s real with Jess and what’s not?’
While Jess has been flogging her romance storyline in the media this week, claiming she has moved from Perth to the Gold Coast to be with Dan, Jules isn’t buying what she’s selling. When asked if the relationship was real, she replied, ‘One hundred per cent not.
‘I don’t think it’s real at all. Do I think it’s going to last? No, I don’t. Are they together? I have no idea. I’m not friends with them.’
While Jules and Cam were portrayed as being somewhat sympathetic to the cheating duo on the show, Jules says that is definitely not the case.
‘For the record. Cam and I DONT CONDONE the cheating, the lies,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘The depth of deceit. We had no idea of everything that was going on.’
