They may have rocked up to the experiment late, but Married At First Sight intruder couple Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente’s love story was one of the season’s sweetest.

The spark was there from their wedding day and it carried them through to the final vows.
In a sweet declaration of love, Johnny confessed that he’d never met someone like Kerry and that he’s falling in love with her.
“Johnny you have my heart, I’m absolutely falling in love with you,” Kerry proclaimed right back.
Since the show, the smitten couple have been spending more time with their family and friends in Queensland and Kerry has even moved to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast to be closer to her MAFS hubby.
However, though she’s not living with Johnny yet because they want to take their relationship one step at a time, Kerry has found a roomie in fellow intruder bride, Georgia Fairweather.
“It’s the best. We get along like a house on fire. She travels a lot for work. I spend a lot of time with Johnny, so we’re not on top of each other. We have a shared lounge and kitchen, but both have different sides of the apartment,” Kerry told 9 Entertainment.
“Her friends have taken me in as a stray puppy and it’s awesome. I’m so happy.”
Kerry also spilled that Johnny has not met her ex-husband who she admitted she was close with on the show. However, with Johnny in her life Kerry admitted that that contact with her ex has been limited.
“I think going into the experiment was really important for me to be able to move forward in my life. I think up until that point I hadn’t been in another serious relationship, so I had never had to force that real separation or cut ties with my ex. It still kind of filled a bit of a mate void or some sort of void for me,” Kerry revealed.
“Forcing that break during filming and then meeting someone who I was really serious about, and then wanting to pay respect to my new partner the same way he would pay respect to me if he was in the same situation with his ex, it was the best thing for me. It helped me to really move forward in my life and it’s been so good.”
But there are no hard feelings on Kerry’s ex’s end who has been “aware and respectful” of the situation.
Along with Patrick and Belinda and Bryce and Melissa, Kerry and Johnny are one of the three season eight couples still together in the outside world.
In fact, Johnny shared a heartwarming tribute to his partner to mark six months since their TV wedding.
“Okay, here’s a little fun fact. Today marks our 6 month anniversary since we got married at first sight, in front of the entire country,” he penned on Instagram on Tuesday.
“The greatest risk I have ever taken. The greatest reward. ♥️ you Kegz.”
