Moments before Jess sat down for her shock radio interview with Fitzy and Wippa this morning, fellow Married At First Sight contestant Martha shocked listeners by strongly hinting that her and sidekick Jess are no longer friends.
Speaking on Nova 96.9 this morning, Martha seemed less than enthused when asked about the status of her Jessika Power’s friendship, telling the radio hosts that her and Jess only “speak here and there”.
The duo, who appear as thick as thieves on the reality show, may be about to experience a rift. If this mornings interview is anything to go by, it may be due to Jess’s relationship with Dan.
When asked if viewers were about to see Jess get in trouble for pursuing married Dan, Martha responded by suggesting that her friend hadn’t been entirely honest with her about the situation, and she is as in the dark as we are.
“The thing is I’m watching it for the first time as well. So all I have is what she’s told me, and now I don’t know if I can go off that.
I’m going to see it all for the first time, but she definitely does go for [Dan].”
Martha also touched on her friendships with Ines – who she called her closest friend from her time on the show – and Cyrell.
“[Ines] is really good know”, Martha told Fitzy and Wippa, “There was a moment there where she wasn’t doing as well. She’s got some trust issues, she’s not trusting anyone at the moment, especially with her edit in the show.”
As for whether Martha and Cyrell are friends after their massive fight, the Bondi based makeup artists admitted that they are civil without being friends.
“No not really, but I don’t think there’s any bad blood either.”
