Mishel Karen has kept her nose out of all the drama that has ensued on this season of Married At First Sight, working hard to keep the peace as the rest of the cast tear each other to shreds.

However, the mum-of-two is now refusing to stay quiet about her feelings towards Elizabeth Sobinoff, telling WHO exclusively that she can’t stand the controversial intruder.
When asked who annoyed her the most while filming the controversial dating experiment, Mishel said during our exclusive photoshoot she couldn’t stand the sight of Lizzie, calling her “annoying” and “fake”.
“Far out, it’s frustrating as f**ck when people weren’t real. Out of the originals, no one,” she said of who got on her nerves. “But out of the intruders, probably Lizzie. She annoyed me but I just kind of ignored her.”
Mishel also suggested the retail assistant only returned to the show so she could be thrust into the spotlight once more, adamant her only desire is to gain more notoriety.
“She’s fake,” she said, refusing to mince her words. “She was in it for fame. Like, no one would ever endure this twice. If you had sanity, would you go through the whole experiment as we went through again?” she asked her television husband, Steve Burley. “She wants to be Insta famous, she wants an extra 150 not 150, 000 followers.”
To the bride’s displeasure, Steve defended their co-star, admitting Lizzie hardly had a chance to find love in the first place.
“Last year, she was only here for five minutes. We did the whole experiment so it can suck the life out of you. But she only id it for a short time and this time.”
The Brisbane based school teacher wasn’t done bashing Lizzie, claiming the returning bride received the royal treatment while the rest of this year’s contestants suffered or hardly got a look in.
“She didn’t do it like us. She did it in first-class while we did it in third class… No, the luggage area of the plane.”
Over the weekend, Mishel opened up about her time on set, revealing that her drink was spiked during the production of the show. The reality-TV star sat down with The Sunday Telegraph, revealing that tranquillisers and benzodiazepines were found in her system and that she “lost control of all bodily functions” after the alleged incident.
“I said that I wanted to have a drink … and there’s a bar close to where we were staying so I said to the production ‘babysitter’ that I’m going to have one drink, and then I’m going to come back,” Mishel told the publication.
“I moved to the bar and I sat next to this guy and we just started to talk. I had a shot of tequila and a cocktail and that was fine, that was it. Then we were just talking and all of a sudden they (waitstaff) came around and he said this was a free drink.
“The guy picked one up for me and then he gave it to me. The guy was a little bit suss, but he was OK. I had the drink, and all of a sudden I could see the phone ringing. I could see myself trying to answer, trying to do something, but I can’t. And that’s all I can remember. I don’t remember anything after that drink.”
Controversial co-star Natasha Spencer was the first to spot Mishel in the street, revealing she “could barely move”.
“She was sitting on the stairs outside of our apartment building near the bar she was at,” Natasha said. “She couldn’t stand up, she was acting super strange, she could barely move. She was all floppy. I thought something was wrong, but I thought maybe she had taken something. I didn’t understand it was a drink spiking.”
The next day Mishel was instructed to use Endemol Shine’s GP instead of her pick.
“Once the test results came back the doctor rang me and said, “Look, you did test positive for opiates,” she said. “I said, ‘Can you test this further, because I am actually allergic to morphine’. He said, ‘Look, it is probably a wig-out, there is no point in doing anything’.”
Mishel’s “husband” Steve Burley failed when he attempted to get a copy of CCTV footage from the bar.
